Project Description: North Texas’s recently complete athletic training and sports medicine facility features a 300,000-square-foot sports performance, research, and wellness center adjacent to the Dallas Cowboys’ new world headquarters in Frisco. Now under construction, the project is a first-of-its kind collaboration between the Dallas Cowboys and Baylor Scott & White Health that is expected to serve up to 50,000 visitors annually. Environmental branding efforts were focused towards the ceremonial entry lobby.
The suspended sculptural element captures movement as users walk into the space through reflective panels in a deconstructed configuration that will span 86 feet long, and reach up to 57 feet high. Upon entering the lobby, the colored pieces are revealed to form the Baylor Scott & White Health logo when looking up. The overall composition is intended to reflect an athlete in motion.
